These are pics from a very long hike in Wild Basin, Rocky Mountain NP... Don and I were out 12.0 hours! I hiked over 16 miles, gaining nearly 3500', and he went considerably farther. Our goal was "just" Lion Lake #1, and I was slow getting there, but we kept going uphill past LL#2 to Snowbank Lake... Where he did nearly another hour up the Mt Alice ridge while I rested by the lake! And then we continued downhill cross country to Thunder Lake, and hiked out 6.8 more miles to the trailhead! This was an epic outing.
