"Campanula, or bellflower. They, along with sedum, were dominate throughout the montane..." On a hike in Rocky Mountain NP, Lisa said: harebell = Campanula rotundifolia, if same species. Rob replied later to me: "...look at the lower leaves. The rotundifolia has round lower leaves, with linear leaves on the stem, while the other common mountain campanula is parryi, with linear leaves throughout."
