I worked really hard all three days (evening, day, and most of the last before we headed home late) raking, hauling 3 loads of deadwood (mostly roots from the trench), distributing 7 loads of excess gravel, and closing as much of the remaining trench as I could. I got the driveway open for a couple of "victory laps" before we left, but we still must fill this short portion of the trench near the building, plus more.
