This is a technical photo inside the old circuit breaker panel that Cathie's previous husband (an electrician) installed in the mid-1990s. The light power wires (not 200 amp service) arriving from lower left carried juice from a generator.
I planned to run surplus heavy cable from the new panel outside through conduit and the wall to the old panel inside, then turn on one circuit at a time carefully. But as usual Cathie had a better idea... Now we plan to instead pull the old wires up to the attic (except one problematic circuit going down to the floor), route/extend them to the new panel outside through a vertical external conduit, and abandon the old panel in place, neatly labeled -- and incidentally behind the shower curtain in the bedroom closet!
