This was my fourth van trip in five years to kayak and collect on the Yellowstone River in eastern Montana! The first two times Cathie came along, and my latter two trips were solo.

This time I spent 7 nights out -- 2 along the way (Ayres Bridge and Tongue River Res), 3 on the banks of the Yellowstone, and 2 more (ND and Devils Tower) exploring while returning home. I camped and first kayaked again at Forsyth, MT, skipped Rosebud (Far West) to revisit Matthews, then added a new (to me) Fallon Bridge site. I spent a night in North Dakota for the first time, on the way home; and another night at Devils Tower! Yowza.
