The Snowy Range (Medicine Bow mountains west of Laramie) are obviously a favorite destination for postings here. Well three days ago (Mon, 10/9) I went for another long weird hike up there, it was gorgeous, and here are some pictures.

I went from from Brooklyn Lake past Lost Lake, up the steep slope to the rim east of Browns Peak, west toward the vague summit, north to relocate a unique blue boulder, east bushwhacking back to the rim, along it until I could cross-country back down to the Glacier Lakes trail. (See route log.)
