Yet another recent dayhike through gorgeous scenery in Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado... This time from Bear Lake past Two Rivers and Helene, down to Odessa and back ("closing the loop" from 13 days prior), and adding a one-way past Bierstadt back to the car at the Park&Ride... 12.8 mi, nearly 8 hr, 2071' gain.

This was my fifth dayhike in the last month (four with Don), after getting back into it and (painfully) into shape for it. Although still overweight and having some kind of weird hypoxemia the first couple of hours... Dizzy, lightheaded, sparkly vision, having to rest often. Not altitude... Maybe prostate drugs? Always improves later in the day.
