On a Friday, I took a friend and joined 4 others for the monthly HP alumni outing, a snowy romp in Rocky Mtn NP from Glacier Gorge Jct to The Loch... 4:15 round trip, just 4.3 mi using winter routes, but a tough 1150' gain (steep!), and extremely windy at the lake, with temps around freezing.
