Mostly Trail Ridge Road was completely snow-covered, but not always! At this point, in sight of Rainbow Curve (up on the distant hill), we had to follow the shoulder around, and not much farther, hit a powerful headwind that turned us back. Just as well, after 1:07 and 1.6 mi round trip on this third outing, we were both sore the next day from the skiing!
