It's downhill from the trailhead in either direction on the Three Bar trail... I went left, and did both the first and second loops clockwise. It's a bit of an uphill slog back to your car at the end of the hike. At upper left is Eagles Nest Rock, which unfortunately is off-limits to climbing, even outside of nesting season.
