A short loop (3+ hours, 5.4 mi) around Eagles Nest (county) open space north of Fort Collins, west of Livermore off US 287. It was another beautiful late-fall (dry) weather day, albeit everything was brown. And surprisingly crowded at the trailhead parking lot, albeit it was a Sunday; I was lucky to get a spot. I guess other people can read weather forecasts too (grin).
