This pile is 2/3 of what it was before I hauled away 3 loads this morning and then called it quits. This is the last remaining pile from a couple of years ago when neighbor Ken Baker cut down over 50 dead trees (not all at once) for firewood to heat his house.

Note the little (10-20 year old?) evergreen tree dying in front of the pile. This is what global warming and drought looks like.
