Cathie and I made another fairly routine run up to the cabin for a couple of nights, this time mid-week May 25-27. There was remarkably little traffic on US-285 late on a Tuesday afternoon... And awful delays on I-25 during Thursday evening rush hour going home.
The trail cam continued to operate, triggering 114 times in just over 3 weeks; mostly duds, but 5 times shooting pictures of a bird, a rabbit, and 3 visits by a coyote over 2 days. There was no fire ban, so for my 5th trip in a row, I got to haul and burn loads of slash to dispose of it.
