It didn't take too long to drive around past Pathfinder Dam and up to the Bishop Point campground, 4 dusty miles down a bumpy road. The place was packed with dozens or hundreds of campers! After exploring around a while, I was able to find a decent campsite on the north side of the bay, on sand and grass, near a latrine and campfire ring (that I used), close enough to carry the kayak to the water in the morning, and some distance from nearby RVs... Although one neighbor ran their generator all night long (sigh).
