Four-night solo camping, kayaking, and rockhounding trip to Wyoming 6/24-28... Finally felt comfortable taking a deep breath, going with caution, and visiting our neighbor to the north (from northern Colorado).

Went through Laramie to camp in Medicine Bow NF, then onwards to 2 nights on the shores of remote Pathfinder Reservoir (on the North Platte River), including 2 kayak outings of 4-5 miles, nearly 6 hours each. Finally met up with the local rockhounding club group in even more remote Shirley Basin for the last night. Two overnight rains, lots of pretty sunsets.

Looking ahead I worried how WY people would treat CO people coming into the state. I didn't encounter any problems there. But a couple of times going indoors (with mask on) for takeout food, or one night sharing a communal pit toilet, was really creeped out by no one else masking or social distancing.
