The view west from the road looping around Michigan Hill, a couple of miles out before winding up to Cathie's cabin, is always impressive, moreso when there's snow on Bald Mountain and Mount Guyot (on the continental divide). Sure this isn't a great photo, just a snapshot out the windshield including a jet contrail, but still... After driving for more than two hours, at this point it feels like we've nearly reached our home away from home.
