After weeks of agonizing about it during the covid pandemic, and watching for good-enough weather to visit Cathie's cabin, I "snuck" up there alone for one night to check on conditions. And I'm glad I did, there was a leak in the ceiling around the chimney. It had been nearly six months since our last visit, thanks to bad weather, heavy snow early, distractions, and/or not feeling well enough.

I took everything I needed including hard and snow shovels, and did not stop for shopping, food, or gas, only rest breaks.
