Over an hour and a half later, things hadn't changed much! You can barely notice how the red/orange zone has progressed south past Douglas. I hoped to leave by, say, 3 pm, but in fact we hung around the ranch until nearly 6 pm. The Thomases tried to leave, but turned around at the frontage road and came back.
