Near the far northeast corner of Cathie's lot, I found a huge "wall" of branches lying across one of our foot trails. It appears the wind toppled a really huge old tree, the closer one in this image, and it snapped a smaller but still considerable tree higher up as it fell.

Having the 100' tape with me, we measured the first tree as having been at least 64' tall.
