Cathie and I were married on June 28, 2003 in Fort Collins, Colorado, at the Foothills Unitarian Church. We paid a semiprofessional photographer friend to take pictures for us and received a couple of CDs with 292 shots. These were early digital images big for the time at about 2.5 Mb each. I was kind of disappointed with them, finding many of them poorly composed, focused, or exposed... Whenever I glanced through them I found it mostly unpleasant rather than enjoyable.
So it was over 21 years later when I finally got around to downloading these pics to my PC album, tossing duds and dups, and labeling and publishing the rest of them! I wanted to "salvage" a small set I'd actually enjoy revisiting, so I ruthlessly tossed (copies on the PC of) any image that made me grimace rather than smile. After the first pass I had 117 left...
