This gray bird, or one of its relatives, has been seen around the cabin on occasion for the past several years. The previous time up, I startled it on the main road a few hundred feet away, early in the morning. It makes a memorably loud wingbeat sound as it panics and ascends to safety on a tree branch. Here the trailcam caught it (but for some reason only triggering once) strolling around outside.
