I hiked Horsetooth Mountain Open Space west of Fort Collins, including the North Tooth and back down the long way via Horsetooth Falls... 30 min from home, $10 to park, 5.5 hr, 7.6 mi, 2100' round trip. Turned out to be a nearly identical repeat of the Dec 30, 2023 hike I took with Don!

I literally got off the couch, overcoming age, aches, and even a little depression, on a gorgeous spring day, to try out my first "real" hike since turning 70. My 41st visit (since 1977) to the top of the Rock went remarkably well overall.
