A few months ago we ground through the tedious process of having CORE add a transformer and a 65' wire to a "house pole", and an electrician to add the meter box and a couple of outlets near the road, spending nearly $12k so far.

So why this picture through the woods? This would be the direct route 169' from the new "house pole" with meter to the east side of the cabin where we want a connection panel with some outlets. The excavator would weigh about 8000 lb, be nearly 6' wide, and dig a trench 1' wide. This would not be good for the woods!
