I geared up for a long outing, left the houseboat at about 10:30 am on a hot, calm, quiet day, and paddled upstream to "Twin Edens Canyon" with many photo stops. I pulled up where the lake ended in that canyon, so low and far down that I couldn't see the Bell Tower Window high above that we first spotted from a speedboat decades ago, and which I subsequently got officially named through the USGS!
