On our first full day in Forbidding Canyon, naturally we powerboated up and
hiked a long way into Rainbow Bridge, which is always fabulous. Later in the
afternoon I went out for my first of four kayak explorations in the area,
three of which were quite long.
It was the rainiest and coolest night and day of the entire 10-night trip.
