So our first day in Ribbon Canyon, I went for my first of just 4 hikes during 10 nights out... Not many, because it was so hot most days! Including today -- and it looks like I didn't even start out until nearly 2 pm.

Deep in the canyon the GPS got really confused about location and elevation, but the result is still amusing. I wasn't even close to making it up the cliffs over the rim, nor did I climb that many vertical feet, possibly just 400' or so.
