After a lunch rest break at the van I went out for a second adventurous dayhike, this time scrambling around the main boulder hills to the north. I think I made it to Turtle Rock! But not until after failing to reach the southwest saddle, due to huge boulders the last 20' or so before traversing around to the northwest saddle.
