The last vertical mile into Denver we descended into thick clouds with snow blowing past. I was surprised we landed on time despite snow and high winds; we got lucky. An hour later stepping off the shuttle bus at the parking lot was a wet, wild, cold experience with sloppy snow blasting past us, and ice forming on all sides of the car. But a few miles west toward home it dried out enough to still make it a fast run home, just about an hour.
