During my last (solo) visit to the cabin in 2025 just before Christmas, I arrived early enough the first day to run a tank of gas through the chainsaw before sunset. I limbed and bucked this 49' spruce that had blown over sometime before 12/11 blocking the west driveway, and also dismantled a freshly fallen 27' aspen north of the cabin.
