I found this cool old beat-up rusty "something" and had to take it home. Possibly the core of an old automobile steering wheel? No, more likely an irrigation ditch valve wheel. Anyway I found a way to tie it to the kayak without getting in my way too much. Now it lives in the garden as a plant trellis!
