I fantasized paddling all the way north downstream to Bishops Point, but it really was too far, so eventually I cut across the old channel of the North Platte River to the west shore. That was Bradley Peak again on the left, and possibly the Ferris mountains far away on the right. This was about 50 minutes after the previous image.
