Northeast from Sugarloaf to the Gap, with South Gap Lake (farthest one) just before it. On the left, the northeast ridge of Medicine Bow Peak; on the right, Browns Peak. My route later took me off-trail to and around the left (west) side of South Gap Lake to the Gap.
