Yeah I took a lot of pictures of Jefferson Lake because it was so incredibly beautiful, tossed some but still kept too many others.

I thought that was Whale Peak in the distance to the north, but Google Earth study says no, it was out of sight higher to the left. The ridge at upper right sits in front of Gibson Lake, which I hiked the next summer to the base of Whale.
