This was much later the same day, heading north toward Buffalo, WY. We actually nailed the weather pretty well... We left a day later than I first intended, crossed several storms during the 350 mi drive to our first campsite, and some rain when we got there -- and then it was mostly gorgeous the next 3-4 days, not too hot or cold or windy. Just some haze arriving in MT on 9/14, and more rain that night into WY.
