"Follow the granite brick road" back from Chasm junction to the trailhead. Someone worked very hard to "pave" long stretches of this formerly extremely eroded trail. And wouldn't you know? Finally by around 1 pm the wind was dying down.

Note old landslide scar on the Twin Sisters to the east.
