So it's Monday morning and I'm monitoring progress on the hurricane. Then all 4 cellphones in the house go nuts repeatedly for a while with many (and repeated) warnings like this one!

Still not panicking. Call Southwest Airlines to inquire for sure about luggage rules -- to take home half of Dad's 4700 slide collection -- and ask about the airport; "we won't stop flying so long as they're open." OK, work around the house, later take the rental car out to a thrift store to buy a couple of extra bags for slide carousel boxes, get lunch, etc...
