Northerly to Mount Sherman in the distance, with the Hilltop mine ruins visible on the skyline left of center. I followed the wide, braided trails around these ponds, detoured left above them more directly to Mt Sheridan past another mine, and returned by the road you see on the upper right, passing those ruins.
