The next day (Sunday), I got up way too early again, and this time took Megan up to Crystal River myself in the rental car for a very full day out, nearly 11 hours, 128 mi, RT. Good thing we left "five minutes early" because, after a 10 minute rest break and foggy weather along the way, we arrived just a couple minutes early.

While she finished her SCUBA open water certification at Hunter Spring Park, I rented a kayak from Paddle Outdoors, drove back to Kings Bay Park nearby to pick it up, went out around the bay for nearly 4 hours (including photographing Megan and two others in the water), walked back from one park to the other see them again, take more pictures, and a short swim, went to Wendys for lunch, and finally picked up Megan to go home, with shopping stops on the way!
