Hearing many reports of catalytic converter thefts, and with the truck (1994 Toyota DX shortbed) parked out front and easy to crawl under, I decided to add this chain as a deterrent to any thief, literally to make them think twice before starting to cut. Of course I'll only ever know for sure if it doesn't work.

To my pleasant surprise, it doesn't make any audible rattling sounds.
