Later that same afternoon, after lunch in Loveland, Sue and I joined a Fort Collins natural areas guided walk at Coyote Ridge for 1.5 hours. This is east from the very first set of (Niobrara formation) hogbacks. From here it's downhill (and mostly flat) all the way to the Mississippi River!
