Cathie's dad bought a 1937 Wurlitzer "automatic phonograph" (later called a jukebox starting after 1941) sometime around 1948 for his motorcycle clubhouse, dance hall, and bar, in the ca. 1905 barn at Jewell and Balsam in Lakewood. Her brother Bill pulled it out of the barn ca. 1985 after the roof was failing and water damage already started. He sold it to her around 2014, we had it out for a while, then stored it (very tightly) in the laundry closet! This is when we pulled it back out to the family room to fix it up and put it back on display.
