About to enter Ruby Wash, yeah, a couple of miles of hard work downhill on gravel. I wouldn't want to try riding up this way, but it was a beautiful Utah-like sandstone wash.
This is after descending switchbacks off the rim, then a long hilly coast (pleasantly doable with braking and caution) to the Salt Lick trail junction, where I decided to add about 0.6 mi by going this way instead of Salt Lick.
