First junction, 1.3 mi up the trail. Great signage! Here I turned right toward the Cheyenne Rim visible in the distance.

One couple out running passed me here, and much later I encountered a solo hiker near the Wyoming border. It was a very quiet day. I never did catch up to the running couple. They must have turned off at the next junction half a mile further along.

Of course you can't see the wind, but this is the first of several places my parked bike blew over...
