Later before we left the fuel dock, I did a (long) trash run from the tied-up houseboat to the dumpsters. I saw the drag track left by the dock being hauled out further into the lake, plus some of the equipment used in the operation. Cables barely visible on the right carry gas and electricity out to the dock.
