Moored the last night "halfway up the second right finger of Halls Creek Bay," sleeping by the helm again, I woke up too early (sigh, it was going to be, and was, a long day), so I added a layer plus shoes, and roamed up onto the slickrock to look for Venus (found it) and Mercury (nope). First, here was the pre-dawn look back toward the houseboat and the just-past-full moon heading down in the west.
