After dropping me off, while I spent about half an hour route-finding and scrambling my way to the top of the mesa, David and Steve explored the north end of Halls Creek Bay by powerboat. I caught them on the radio upon their return, they saw me about to reach this point, then they continued (to the left). Note how there's just one other boat visible in this bay, which is generally packed during the summer.
