After 3 nights and 5 hikes (for me) at the bottom of the Slope, with the weather warming every day, we decided, to my surprise, to motor downstream, away from Bullfrog Marina, for what turned out to be another 3 nights. We were already about 17 river miles downstream, and went another 26, which took 5:20 including sand anchor digging time at our destination.

The lake was nearly deserted! And calm too, mirror reflections. After we arrived, I finally did a quick 1.5 hour tour in the kayak
