Oct 27: Two of us took a short powerboat ride around the corner up an
unnamed canyon that I refer to as "NotAnnies" because it's not Annies
Canyon, which is next upstream on the same side of Lake Powell. We did
a relatively tough hike/scramble a bit farther than I last went...
About 25 years ago! It was nothing like I remembered.
Later that day, I ran about 580' up "Gertrude" nearby the houseboat to
watch the sun go down, returning to the boat before dark. We spent a
third night (fifth for the other two) moored at the base of the Slope
before moving on.
