Oct 25, first day at Lake Powell -- a very odd start to my 336th night on the lake. The two guys I joined for the week (actually 8 nights) were already there with another small crew the previous week. The houseboat was moored 17 miles downstream. I met a ski boat at the Bullfrog ramp after it dropped off the departing folks, 2 of us motored back for nearly an hour, and then after moving in, I went for a rather long little hike (over 1000' gained) up The Slope before dark!
