As if a family visit and major hailstorm weren't enough, the old washing machine died suddenly when the (non-replaceable) transmission locked up. We bought a new machine, also new water hoses, and then had to buy another set that were angled, not straight, to fit in the tight space!

...All because a large part of the laundry closet was occupied by a big, heavy 1940s era jukebox Cathie bought from her brother years ago.
